Missions
At Bardstown Church of God, we have pledged to support Church of God Missionaries Tammy & Bobby Owens through their organization, Isaiah 58.
We work with indigenous, un-evangelized tribes, such as the Yaminuaha, Ashanika, Ticuna, and Shipibo, in the Andes mountains and Amazon Rain Forests of Peru and Colombia. We minister to the poorest of the poor through the planting of churches and establishing of feeding centers in the most impoverished communities in those regions (we supply food to five communities to help prevent sickness and share the love of Christ).

In 2012, my husband and I began Isaiah 58 Ministries, a non-profit organization commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to take the gospel into all the world. Since then, we have planted 15 churches and refuge centers, with the 16th underway. God has enabled us to provide wells for clean drinking water and medical campaigns to those who either have no access to or cannot afford medical treatment.

We have been blessed to witness thousands of unreached souls come to the knowledge and saving grace of Christ Jesus. Our most memorable moment is when we visited the Yaminuaha tribe that live at the landfill where they work for the wage of .65 a day. The level of poverty was unthinkable; they were frightened and many were sick. The children bearing oozing sores in their heads and extended stomachs die to malnourishment and parasites. The Holy Spirit’s welcoming presence drew them as they decided to trust us. Since that day they now have a church, clean drinking water, clean food, and have been treated through two Medical campaigns. All of this tribal village now proclaims Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!
